Dude, this is so reminiscent of Bubble 1.0. Wasn’t there a thing that did the same 5 years or so ago? Speak up if you remember (comments on).
I'm too young too remember web 1.0 (maybe), but it's definately web 2.0, it's in beta.
Also, the phrase "monitors which websites we're looking at." isn't reassuring.

I totally remember something like this -- it required the site to have it enabled, I think. For the life of me I can't remember what it was called though.
