New Shuttleboard by Veer
~ 13 June 2005 ~
As of today, Veer rolls out a new feature called Shuttleboard. I originally planned to do full write-up, but instead I figure you might as well just dive in and enjoy it on your own. Trust me — you’ll be at least surprised, if not amazed at what you’re able to do with this handly little online app.
Long story short, you’ll find it to be an entirely new approach to lightboxes, comping, and testing before purchasing. Imagine combining the usefulness of a lightbox with some of the tools found in familiar software such as Photoshop and Illustrator and you’ve got Shuttleboard.
Give it a whirl: Toss some images and typefaces in your lightbox, and then click “Shuttleboard Mode” towards the upper right on the main lightbox page. Then drag, resize, edit, crop, layer, and right-click your way to a bit of comping bliss.
Oh, and if you’re wondering if that’s the same Cameron in today’s related press release, you probably guessed right.
